Ten Things to Take over:
Water supply- Everyone needs water, not only to drink, but to shower, brush our teeth, wash food, cook. Seizing the water supply will help us because this is the greatest necessity to life.

Military Armed Forces- If we take over their military they will be left defenseless and weak. The people will be left looking for protection, leaving them to turn to our country for support.

Natural Resources- This is needed to make houses, build fires, and make products; without natural resources. If we take over the natural resources we will also have control over trading, because we can seize trade to other countries and stop the flow of outside resources and income for the country.

Technology- If we control technology we have control over what the people see on the internet and what they can look up. Also we control cell phone services; allowing us to cut off calls, tap into what people are saying.

Government Agencies- People will believe what their government says and does. If we control Government agencies we control what they hear and see.

Oil/Gas companies- Oil/Gas is needed for cars, cooking, heating/cooling systems; we will have control over how much people can travel. Also gas/oil is a major export, which will have other countries also at our mercy, because they will lose trade.

Power Companies- If we control the power than we can control how late people stay out or work. We can control how much power people can actually use.

Chemical producers- We will have control over what scientists produce. We can use this to our advantage by making harmful chemicals to use for war and threats. Also we will have control over vaccines and cures for medicines and we can chose what to make available.

Banking Industry- We will have control over the countries income and money. We will have control over how much money people can take out. Also we can take their money for things we need, and they have no control over that.

Religious organizations- Many people take religion seriously and believe what they say. If we take control over the religious aspect of the country the people will believe what we say. It's easier to reach people through religion.

Part 4:
1.Could a totalitarian society ever exist in the United States? Why or why not?
A Totalitarian government could not last in the united states because we are so used to democracy and we have a system of checks and balances to protect one single person from having to much power.

2.Is a totalitarian society free of crime, poverty and national security threats
better than a free society plagued with crime, poverty and threats of attacks? Explain reasons.
A totalitarian government is not free of crime because it is a dictatorship and no country is going to willingly give up their land and their people, so violence plays a huge part, making it worse than our goverment.

3.How important is the leader or figurehead of a totalitarian regime? Can a totalitarian government exist without one?
Without a leader, a totalitarian government will not last because the entire point of the government is one person in single control like a dictatorship.
